Application Development

The Application Development Cohort is concerned with the application development best practices, technologies, tools, and issues that face the campus. Cohort members are application development professionals and practitioners.

Cloud Architecture

The Cloud Architecture Cohort is a group concerned with identifying the current state, the greenfield (desired) state of UCSB Cloud architecture, implementation, and technologies. The group also addresses approaches required to cross the gap between current state and greenfield state.

Identity Architecture

The Identity Architecture Cohort is  concerned with identifying the current state, the greenfield (desired) state of UCSB Identity architecture, implementation, and technologies. The group also addresses approaches required to cross the chasm between current state and greenfield state.

Network and Collaboration Architecture

The Network Architecture Cohort is a group concerned with identifying the current state, the greenfield (desired) state of the UCSB Network architecture, implementation, and technologies. The group also addresses approaches required to cross the chasm between current state and greenfield state.

Research Cohort

The Research Computing Cohort is an informal group of UCSB IT professionals who actively support the computing needs of the university research community.

Security

The Security Cohort is concerned with the network and information security issues that face the campus. Cohort members are security professionals and practitioners.

Women in Technology

The Women in Technology group focuses on encouraging, and supporting women in the pursuit of technology careers.
